Hammering, electrical saws and other construction noise are not relaxing and can be heard throughout the pool areas.
The receptionist made no mention of the ongoing construction. I called ahead this trip to make sure they were open and see if there were guest limits due to covid. Unfortunately, it is style over substance. On the good side: The new owners are really trying to spruce it up and have used the down time of the pandemic and fire to attend to a lot of the needed renewal. It gives me no pleasure to write this review, but it has to be said. I have been going to Ojo for over 40 years.
